Students within a broad field of ore deposits research are invited and encouraged to participate in the 17th SGA Biennial Meeting. The meeting will offer a great opportunity for students to interact with leading scientists, other young researchers, and the industry in an inspired and informal environment.
The following incentives are being offered to encourage strong student participation at the 17th SGA Biennial Meeting:
Heavily discounted registration fees
The registration fees for all students are at a reduced level, SGA Student Members paying the lowest registration fees.
An evening event where students can meet Industry representatives. Included in the conference registration fee.
To support participation of students at the conference, a limited number of grants are open for SGA students who are senior authors of accepted abstracts. Students from economically disadvantageous countries are prioritised.
Subsidy of student registration fees and travel grant
Following receipt of applications (through the abstract submission portal), SGA will award free conference registration and travel grants to selected SGA students members presenting at the 17th SGA Biennial Meeting.
Discounted Short Course and Field Trip fees
Short Courses have discounted registration fees for SGA student members. Following receipt of applications (through the abstract submission portal), SGA will award selected students a free short course registration.
Do not hesitate to contact the Student Committee if you have any questions, comments or suggestions.
